Sub: Issue of First Class ‘A’ Complimentary ‘Admin’ Cheque Pass to retired Railway Servants called for felicitation during 75th Independence Day Celebration.
Ref: (i) Southern Railway’s letter No. P(W)378/IRCC/2021-22 dated 08.08.2022.
(ii) Board’s letter No. E(G)2021/CL-4/1Pt. dated 27.10.2021 & 28.07.2022.
Southern Railway, vide their letter cited under Ref.(i) above, have sought clarification regarding Pass facility to be extended to the retired Railway Servants called for felicitation during 75th Independence Day Celebration, as per Board’s letters cited under Ref.(ii) above.
2. In this context, the Competent Authority has accorded approval for extending Pass facility, as stipulated below:-
“First Class ‘A’ Complimentary ‘Admin’ Cheque Pass alongwith one Companion in the same Class from the Station where presently residing to the Station of felicitation and back, valid for travel in 2-AC Class of all trains including Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Duronto Express type trains or as per Post Retirement Complimentary Pass entitlement, if higher. The period of validity shall be 15 days from the date of issue”.
3. Necessary action may be taken to issue Passes accordingly.
4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
