Respected Sirs,
Subject: Request for the Grant of Productivity Linked Bonus to Eligible Pensioners of ESI Corporation for the Year 2021/22
Bharat Pensioners Samaj, the largest federation representing pensioners and their associations across the nation, is writing to bring to your attention a critical issue regarding the non-sanctioning of Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) for the eligible pensioners of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) for the fiscal year 2021/22.
BPS regrets to inform you that the PLB for the aforementioned period has not been disbursed due to the absence of directives from the concerned ministries, particularly the Ministry of Labour and Employment and the Ministry of Finance. This delay in payment is significantly impacting the financial well-being of the beneficiaries, many of whom rely on this bonus for their livelihood.
In light of the financial hardships faced by these pensioners, Bharat Pensioners Samaj earnestly requests your kind intervention to expedite the resolution of this matter. We believe that the timely disbursement of the PLB is essential to alleviate the financial strain on these retired employees who have dedicated their lives to public service.
BPS, request your immediate attention to this pressing issue and seek your intervention to ensure the prompt release of the Productivity Linked Bonus to the eligible pensioners of the ESIC for the year 2021/22.
Thank you for considering our request.
BPS looks forward to a favorable resolution to this matter.
Yours sincerely,
S.C. Maheshwari
Secretary General
Bharat Pensioners Samaj
