1490: Shri Neeraj Shekhar:
Will the Minister of Finance be pleased to state:
(a) whether Department of Expenditure has given its concurrence again during February,2023 in response to 3rd reference in January,2023 by Department of Pension & Pensioners Welfare (DoP&PW) to issue general orders to cover those employees under Old Pension Scheme whose advertisements for recruitment were issued before 01.01.2004 instead of 22.12.2003;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether Department of Expenditure (DoE) has also vetted the OM to be issued for the same; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d) Department of Expenditure has given its concurrence on 07.02.2023 to issue general orders to cover those employees under Old Pension Scheme whose advertisements for recruitment were issued before 22.12.2003 instead of 01.01.2004. This Department has also approved the draft order.
