Madam / Sir,

With reference to letter received from Section Officer (UT-2), DoSEL, Ministry of Education, vide mail dated 13.07.2022, regarding the subject cited above, it is to inform that, Ministry of Culture has launched “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign to honour our National Flag. It envisages to inspire Indians everywhere to hoist the National Flag at their Home.

The vision of Har Ghar Tiranga is to unify the Nation and remember the freedom struggle of the country by instilling patriotism. The people of the nation shall be inspired to hoist the National Flag at their homes during the Independence week from 11th- 17th August 2022 with pride to signify their participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

In this regard, it is requested to promote the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by popularizing the creatives on social media handles and website. Creating awareness about the campaign may be encouraged in morning assembly, and contests may be organized. School Notice boards should have Har Ghar Tiranga campaign creatives to educate students about the Har Ghar Tiranga and vision to hoist National Flag at their homes. Hence, it is requested to dissimenate this information to all the Kendriya Vidyalayas under the Region to encourage the students during morning assembly to promote the Har Ghar Tiranga to hoist National Flag at their homes.
