For purposes of fixation of pension & fly pension at 50% & 30% of the minimum of the pay scale, the Govt has used the words corresponding to the pay scale INSTEAD OF THE CORRESPONDING TO THE PAY SCALE OF THE POST FROM WHICH the pensioner has retired has put lot of pensioners their right dues. In b etween, there has been upgradation/revision/higher pay scales etc. The Govt issued the orders for revision of 50% & 30% wherever the pay scales were up[graded/revised/ etc. But, in respect of Income-tax Officers, the CBDT/MoP&PWelfare has not issued the orders. Will they open their eyes and try to understand the significant fact about the same an d rectify the defects. (2)6th CPC’s recommendation 50% of the last pay drawn or 10 monthly average whichever is higher has been accepted but did not extend the same to pre-2006 pensioners. Full pension for those who ha ve put in 20 years or more has been confirrmed by the SC and implemented Will wisdom be dawn for issue of the orders basing on the recommendation recommended and accepted by the GOVT.
