The Committee is in receipt of the following references from the representatives of the staff side of JCM:
i. Letter No.4/1004/MIM/AIDEF/23 dated 03.07.2023 from the Leader, Staff Side of the Standing Committee of the National Council (JCM) and General Secretary, All India Defence Employees’ Federation,
ii. Letter No. JFROPS(NJCA)/2023 dated 21.09.2023 as Convener of Joint Forum for Restoration of Old Pension Scheme,
iii. Letter No. JFROPS(NJCA)/2023 dated 10.01.2024 as Convener of Joint Forum for Restoration of Old Pension Scheme.
2. The Committee has been engaging with the staff side of the JCM and has had meetings on 09.06.2023, 05.07.2023 and more recently on 14.03.2024. The issues raised have been taken note of by the Committee. The Committee is actively considering the matter in consultation with the State Governments.
