Subject : Gramin Dak Sevaks (Grant of Financial Upgradation) Scheme, 2024 – Adherence to the time-schedule – reg.
Sir/Madam,
Please refer to this directorate OM no. 17-31/2016-GDS (Financial Upgradation) dated 15.03.2024 whereby the Gramin Dak Sevaks (Grant of Financial Upgradation) Scheme, 2024 was introduced.
2. In this regard, the attention is drawn to the para 5.3 of the said Scheme, wherein the timelines for different activities in connection with financial upgradation has been provided. The scheme provides for conducting of screening committee in the first week of July in respect of the cases maturing in the first half.
3. Therefore, I am directed to request to ensure that the time-schedule is followed by all concerned in the letter and spirit. In this respect, all the Circles are also requested to furnish a compliance/status report by 22.07.2024 regarding the no. of GDS to whom the financial up gradation has been recommended/not recommended in the enclosed format.
