OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub: Amendment in Subsidiary Instructions to the Central Government Accounts (Receipts & Payments) Rules, 2022- reg.

Reference is invited to Para 4.1 (vill) of Standard Operating procedure of e-bill issued vide OM dated 12.04.2023. Now Department of Expenditure has conveyed the approval of FS & Secretary (Expenditure) for enhancement of the limit for e-signing of e-claims by the vendors/suppliers from Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/- The necessary amendments in the Para 2.2 (5 )(c ) of the Subsidiary Instructions to the Central Governments Accounts (Receipts & Payments) Rules, 2022, have also been made vide Correction Slip No. 1 of the Subsidiary Instructions to the Receipts & Payments Rules, 2022, issued on 02.01.2024 (copy enclosed). The vendors/suppliers shall now be allowed to submit the e-claim using electronic signature provided that all e-claims exceeding Rs. 1,00,000/- shall be through digitally signed ones.
