Please find enclosed DAD HQrs office letter cited under reference for immediate action please.

This is regarding delay in payment of final settlement of GPF account and subsequent claim of interest on delayed payment of GPF final settlement.

Recently HQrs office has been receiving cases pertaining to the years 2020-2022 where the officers/staff have been approaching for the non-payment of GPF final settlement within stipulated time and thereby claiming for interest on delayed payment of final settlement of GPF accounts.

Therefore, it is requested to intimate- (a) the number of cases where delay in payment of final settlement of GPF account beyond stipulated period has taken place and (b) the number of cases where the beneficiary has sought for payment of interest on account of delayed payment lying under your audit jurisdiction by 15.02.2023 through return email, so the same may be forwarded to HOrs office.

It is also advised to ensure timely processing of GPF final settlement cases.

This is regarding delay in payment of final settlement of GPF account and subsequent claim of interest on delayed payment of GPF final settlement.

2. Recently Hrs. office has been receiving cases pertaining to the years 2020-2022 where the officers/staff from both DAD and Non-DAD segment have approached for the non payment of GPF final settlement within stipulated time and thereby claiming for interest on delayed payment of final settlement of GPF accounts.

3. It is requested to intimate (a) the number of cases where delay in payment of final settlement of GPF account beyond stipulated period has. taken place and (b) the number of cases where the beneficiary has sought for payment of interest on account of delayed payment lying under your audit jurisdiction by 15/02/2023.

4. Please treat the matter as Most Urgent.
