In view of the number of posts lying vacant in the Section Officers’ Grade in various Ministries/Departments mainly due to court cases and pending LDCE for the Year 2009/2010/2011, it has been decided that eligible Assistants upto S. No. 494 of CSL 2003 of Assistant Grade as issued vide DOP&T’s OM No. 7/4/2010-CS-I(A) dated 12th July, 2012 may be promoted to the Grade of Section Officer on ad-hoc basis
It is informed by DOPT that SSC has furnished a merit wise list containing the names of 132 candidates who had qualified the LDCE, 2003 and their dossiers were called for by SSC but could not be recommended for appointment due to a non-availability of sufficient number of vacancies in the select list year 2003 under LDCE mode for UDC.
DOPT has formulated Cadre Training Plan for stenographers Grade D of CSSS. all the candidates who qualify the Grade ‘D’ Stenographers Examination and are appointed as Stenographers Grade ‘D’ are required to undergo the foundation training course (Induction training) at Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM).
The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) nominated Steno Gr.’D’/ PA (adh-hoc) for appointment / promotion to the PA grade of CSSS on regular basis under the Zoning Scheme on their inclusion in the Select List Year 2010
Govt increases the Strength of CSSS officers in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
he Department of Personnel (DOPT) has issued a OM dated 29.06.2012 wherein it has been noted that the availability of regular PAs through normal modes of recruitment prescribed under the CSSS Rules may take some more time. The DOPT has decided to continue the period ad-hoc appointments of those PAs who have already been working as PAs on ad-hoc basis upto 31.12.2012 or till regular PAs become available, whichever is earlier.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) referred their OM No.6/2/2011-CS-II(C) dated 15.05.2012 regarding recruitment of Steno Grade C and D through SSC for 2011. Now the DOPT has issued the list of another 19 candidates for recruitment. The DOPT has instructed the cader units to conduct the pre appointment formalities such as Medical tests/Character verification etc.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) referred their OM No. 4/12/2011-CS-I(D), dated 2nd March, 2012 wherein instructions on rotational transfer of CSS officers during the year 2012, Deputy Secretaries and Directors who have completed 5 years or more in a Ministry/Department as on 01.01.2012 are to be transferred in the month of June,2012 was issued.
DOPT has issued Common Seniority List of CSSS for the Select List Year upto 2004 as on 01.07.2010 and final Common Seniority List of PS grade of CSSS for Select List year 2005.
