Extension of SL Year 2003 of UDCs of CSCS

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) has decided to extend the select List Year 2003 of UDCs by including the names of additional 2151 UDCs in the Select List Year 2003 against the vacancies caused in the grade of UDCs for the Select List Year 2003 consequent upon promotion of 2151 UDCs to the Assistant grade subsequent to the Cadre Restructuring of CSS.

Policy for encadrement of Posts into CSS/CSSS/CSCS.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) has referred their OM No. 21/7/2007- CS I dated 01.02.2010 and noted that some Ministries have created posts in the grades where there are already a large number of vacancies. In some cases the tenure of the proposed posts is not long enough by which the recruitment process can be completed to fill up the post. Due to this, there is unavoidable delay in the encadrement and filling up such posts.

Discontinuation of ad hoc appt. of Steno Gr. D in CSSS

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) New Delhi, has issued an O.M dated 10.04.2012 wherein it has been reiterated that the CSSS Rules, 2010 do not provide for any LDC/UDC to be eligible for the post of Stenographer Grade-D and only one mode of recruitment ie ‘direct recruitment’ has been provided for recruitment of Stenographer Grade-D. it has been decided that hereafter, proposals for continuation of ad hoc appointment of stenographer Grade D in Central Secretariat Stenographer Service (CSSS) will not be considered.

Panel of PPS of CSSS for the Select List year 2010.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) has published the Panel of PPS of Central Secretariat Stenographer Service (CSSS) for the Select List year 2010. All the cadre units have been instructed to issue orders of appointment on regular basis subject to the vigilance clearance and submission of property returns by the concerned Officers.

Rotational Transfer of Section Officers with more than 16 years of service in the same Ministry/Department

In the first phase DOPT has come up with an implementation order relating to the above mentioned Rotational Transfer policy, in which Section Officers also who have completed 16 years of service in the same Ministry or Departmen have been issued with transfer orders to different Ministry or department.
