The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) has decided to extend the select List Year 2003 of UDCs by including the names of additional 2151 UDCs in the Select List Year 2003 against the vacancies caused in the grade of UDCs for the Select List Year 2003 consequent upon promotion of 2151 UDCs to the Assistant grade subsequent to the Cadre Restructuring of CSS.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) has referred their OM No. 21/7/2007- CS I dated 01.02.2010 and noted that some Ministries have created posts in the grades where there are already a large number of vacancies. In some cases the tenure of the proposed posts is not long enough by which the recruitment process can be completed to fill up the post.
