Subject: Reg. proposal for creation of new Postal Division named Surguja (H.Q. Ambikapur) by bifurcation of Raigarh Postal Division.
Madam/Sir,
Please refer to Circle Office letter No. Estt/21-10/II/DO Raigarh/426 to 427 dated 21.09.2021 on the subject cited above.
2. The proposal of creation of new Surguja Postal Division (H.Q. Ambikapur) by bifurcation of Raigarh Postal Division has been examined in detail in consultation with Integrated Finance Wing (IFW). The proposal has been approved by the Competent Authority, subject to the following conditions:-
(a) To ensure that there will be increase in the revenue as projected by the Circle.
(b) Recurring and Non-recurring expenditure on account of creation of Division will be limited to the amount furnished by the Circle.
(c) There will be review of financial performance of both Raigarh Division and Surguja Division on completion of one year.
3. In view of above, the Circle is requested to take further necessary action accordingly and furnish an Action Taken Report to this Office. The review after completion of one year is a mandatory condition of IFW, therefore, the same be strictly adhered to.
4. This issues with the concurrence of Integrated Finance Wing vide their Dy. No. 162/2021-22/FA-CS (P) dated 03.02.2022.
