Ministries/Departments shall upload the data related to foreign visits on the online Foreign Visit Management System (FVMS).Quarterly Rolling Plan (QRP) of proposed programmes/ visits for the next 3 months, etc

Railways Receives Double Jolt – Finance Ministry cut Central Funding by Rs 12,000 crore – Refuses to Help with 7CPC Liabilities

Citing poor pace of work in the Railways, the government has cut the gross budgetary support to the national transporter by Rs 12,000 crore for this financial year. It also refused to help Railways with any funds to meet its salary/pension liabilities arising out of the pay commission recommendations this year.

Posting of employees who have differently abled children

Department of Personnel and Training has exempted transfer of employees who are taking care of  disabled dependents.  DoPT in this OM defines the word ‘disabled’ which includes (i) blindness or low vision (ii) hearing impairment (iii) locomotor disability or cerebral palsy (iv) leprosy cured (v) mental retardation (vi) mental illness (vii) multiple disabilities and (viii) autism.

Delay in payment of Retirement and Death Benefits

KVS has instructed all the Deputy Commissioners of all Regional Offices to take steps for speedy settlement of the retirement benefits or death benefits to the bereaved family. KVS wants the retirement benefits should be made available on the day of retirement.  KVS instructs all the personnel concerned are advised to work in advance and see that the settlement is made on the retirement day.

Department of Personnel & Training has issued an OM regarding Submission of Declaration of Immovable Property Returns by the Government servants of Group ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and erstwhile Group ‘D’. DoPT OM states that the last date for submission of returns is fixed as 31.01.2016.
