Considering the fact that posts are lying vacant in the Section Officers’ Grade in various Ministries/Departments mainly on account of court cases, it has been decided that eligible Assistants (who have completed 8 years of approved service in the grade of Assistant) upto SCSLs 2002 (Gen. & SC) may be promoted to the grade of Section Officer on ad-hoc basis to the extent of vacant posts available in the Cadre Units upto 31,10.2011
The Ministry of Railways has decided to grant ad hoc bonus equal to 30 days of emoluments. for the group C and D Personnel working in RPF/RPSF.. The Calculation of ceiling of Rs. 3,500 would continue to be same. The method of calculation and eligibility to various categories of persons are detailed in the Railway Board Order.

It has been clarified that, if CGHS rate is not available for any treatment procedure in any CGHS covered city, the CGHS rate applicable to the nearest CGHS city or CGHS, Delhi, whichever is lower shall be admissible
Following the increase of 7 % in Dearness Allowance to the Central Government Employees, the Central Government Pensioners are also going to get 7 % increase in the Dearness relief. The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare, New Delhi, has decided that the Dearness Relief (DR) payable to Central Government pensioners/ family pensioners shall be enhanced from the existing rate of 51% to 58% w.e.f. 1st July, 2011, in terms of the Department

The President is pleased to sanction Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 78 days wages without any ceiling on wages for eligibility for the financial year 2010-11 to all eligible non-gazetted Railway Employees (excluding all RPF/RPF personnel). Where wages exceed Rs.3500 per month productivity linked bonus will be calculated as if wages are Rs.3500 p.m
