Ad-hoc promotion to SO grade in CSS – continuation of.

The Department of Personnel and training (DOPT) has permitted the cadre authorities of CSS to continue ad hoc promotion in the grade of Section Officer upto 30.06.2011. Now the DOPT has decided that as the availability of regular Section Officers will take some more time, the period of ad hoc promotion to SO grade is extended beyond 30.06.2011 upto 30.09.2011.

Notification of Group A Service Rules as per 6th CPC

The Department of Personnel and training (DOPT) has invited attention to the guidelines for amendment of Service Rules/Recruitment Rules for incorporating the changes arising out of 6th CPC recommendations. The DOPT has already issued revised eligibility conditions for SAG & HAG level for members of Organized Group A Services and also for grant of functional scale of Rs. 14300-18300 (pre-revised) to the SEs and equivalent in respect of Engineering Services prescribed in OM dated 29.12.2010.

Non Functional Upgradation to IAS Officers at Centre

The Department of Personnel and training (DOPT) has circulated the details of the IAS officers who have been subsequently posted in the Centre in the various grades as well as the date of posting of the first officer belonging to the batch. The Ministry has decided that such Officers belonging to batches of Organized Group A Services that are senior by two year or more and have not so far been promoted to that particular grade may be granted higher scale of Pay as per the provisions of DOPT OM No. 14017/64/2008 Estt (RR) dated 24.04.2009.

Air India LTC 80 Fare for Central Government Employees – Features and Conditions

Central Government Employees drawing grade pay of Rs.5400 and above can travel by air for the tours performed on official duty and while proceeding on LTC. Revision of OP treatment Charges under CS(MA) Rules

Sunderban Allowance to Govt servants of West Bengal

The Department of Expenditure under Ministry of Finance has issued OM dated 30.06.2011 and conveyed the sanction of the President for the continued grant of Sunderban Allowance at the existing rates (Based on the notional pay in pre-revised scales) to the Central Government employees posted in the Sunderban areas of West Bengal for a further period from 01-01-2003 to 31-08-2008 and at the revised rates from 01-09-2008 onwards. It is decided that this allowance will be given upto the period for which the Government of West Bengal continues to pay this allowance to its employees.

Leave Encashment to Govt Servants appointed in PSUs
