TN Govt has revised consolidated pay, fixed pay and honorarium paid to the employees drawing consolidated pay.
The increase in Dearness Allowance for Tamilnadu State Govt Pensioners shall be paid in cash to the Pensioners / Family Pensioners with effect from 1-1-2016

The ongoing indefinite strike by the government employees and officials across the State has seriously affected the ‘services’ being extended by the government departments to the public on Thursday also.
More than three lakh state government employees in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday launched an indefinite strike to press for their various demands. The strike affected functioning of many departments.
The spokesperson said the new Chairman has been mandated to give recommendations with regard to new pay scales for the employees and revision in the pension for pensionersas well as family pensioners of the state government.
