Based on Kerala High Cour Order dated 05.10.1998, Ministry of Defence has ordered that affected officers of the armed forces in conformity with the orders of the Kerala High Court order dated 5.10.1998 in the case of Maj A.K.Dhanapalan versus Union of India & other should be given revised pay without deduction of rank
It is categorically stated in the Letter F.No:HRD/CM/175/2010-11/3093 dated 28.12.2011, that since there is a more than fair chance that fixation will be done respect to the minimum of Rs.13,860 in this case making recoveries on this account will be unjustified.
