CEA will be allowed when childen of employees are studying in Schools recognized by the Central or State Govt. or Union territory administration or by University or a recognized educational authority having jurisdiction over the area where the institution is situated
Ministry of Railways has issued Circular revising allowance which is paid in lieu of Running room facilities, Shunting Duty Allowance, Trip Allowance and Commercial duty Allowance by 25% with effect from 01.01.2011 consequent upon increase in the rate of DA to 51%.
If CPI-IW for November 2015 and December 2015 could touch 271, DA from January 2016 for Central Government Empoyees will be 126%

7th CPC refrain from the issue pertaining to payment of Running Allowance (Kilometerage Allowances and ALK). It feels that it is best left to the Railway Administration, since from time immemorial, the kilometerage entitlements/rates are decided through bi-lateral discussions between Railway Board and Federations.
Deputation is not DA indexed so far. 7th CPC has recommended to hike Deputation allowance by 2.25 times. The ceilings of this allowance will further rise by 25 percent each time DA increases by 50 percent.
Department of Posts has announced the eligibility of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) also become entitled to the payment of Dearness Allowances on basis TRCA at the revised rate with effect from 01.07.2015. Gramin Dak Sevaks shall be enhanced from the existing rate of 113% to 119%
Department of Posts has released bonus orders to all postal staff including casual labourers who have been conferred temporary status. Sixty days salary will be paid as bonus. The formula for calculating the bonus has also been provided by Department of Posts
Finance Ministry recently issued order for revised DA from July 2015 to 119% for employees who are presently getting 6th CPC Pay. In respect of Central Govt and Central Autonomous Bodies employees who draw their pay in the pre-revised scale as per 5th CPC is revised now to 234%
Union Cabinet approved 6% increase in DA from July 2015 for Central Government Employees and Pensioners. Finance Ministry has issued OM dated 23rd September 2015, for revising Dearness Allowance of Central Government Employees to 119% from July 2015. Orders in respect of Central Government Pensioners will be issued by Department of Pension soon
Pr Controller of Accounts has revised Night Duty Allowance ceiling limit for entitlement of NDA may be fixed at Rs.12380/- keeping in view of the 6th CPC.
