CORRIGENDUM
Sub: Comprehensive Transfer Policy — eligibility service condition for Non-Gazetted Employees on Inter-Railway Request Transfer (IRRT)
Ref.: Railway Board’s letter No. E(O)DI-2014/PL/05 dated 31.08.2015.
Reference Board’s letter of even number dated 10.03.2022 on the above subject.
Doubts have been raised by certain Railways regarding the decision conveyed vide para 3 of the instructions dated 10.03.2022 cited above.
The matter has accordingly been considered and para 3 of the said. letter is modified to read as under:-
“The matter has accordingly, been considered by the Board, and in partial modification of Board’s letter dated 03.08.2015 cited above, it has been decided that General Managers, in consultation with the recognized Trade Unions, may increase the minimum service period for Inter-Railway transfer from 5 years to 10 years for specific categories in non-gazetted cadre, keeping in view the need for manning important posts for smooth train operations.”
