Sub: – Upgradation of pay structure of entry grade of Dresser Gr.III/Operation Theatre Assistants Gr.II.

In pursuance of Ministry of Finance’s OM F. No. 36(1)/E.III-B/2021 dated 19.07.2022, the President has accorded his approval for upgrading pay scale of Dresser Gr.I]I/Operation Theatre Assistant GrIII from the existing pay scale of Level-2 (PB-1/GP-1900, 6th CPC) to Level-3 (PB-1/GP-2000, 6th CPC) subject to revision of the entry level qualification of Dressers Gr.III / Operation Theatre Assistants Gr. III to Class XII with three years’ experience of dressing of wounds.

2. The existing incumbents, i.e., those in service as on date of issue of this order and not possessing the revised qualification shall continue to work in Level-2 (PB-1/GP 1900) and shall be granted Level-3 (PB-1/GP-2000) only after acquiring the revised qualification or on completion of five years in the pay level corresponding to Grade Pay 1900, whichever is earlier.

3. The date of effect of revised pay structure of Dressers Gr.III/Operation Theatre Assistants Gr.III will be from the date of issue of the orders.

4. Exercise for revision of Recruitment Rules of Dressers Gr.III/Operation Theater Assistants Gr. III will be undertaken separately by Establishment Directorate.

5. This issues with the concurrence of Establishment and Finance Directorates of Ministry of Railways.
