Revised Rates of ceiling of Tenure Allowance upon Dearness Allowance being raised by 50%: Railway Board Order dated 15.07.2024

Sub: – Revised Rates of ceiling of Tenure Allowance upon Dearness Allowance being raised by 50%
Ref 1: Board’s letter bearing RBE No. 181/2017 & 182/2017
Ref 2: Board’s letter bearing RBE No. 26/2024 dated 15.03.2024
Consequent to implementation of recommendations of 7th CPC, as accepted by Government of India, orders regarding revision of rates and ceilings of Tenure Allowance to Officers of Organized Group ‘A’ Services on their appointment as Deputy Directors/ Joint Directors/ Directors in the office of RDSO and Railway Board were issued vide Board’s orders bearing RBE No. 181/2017 and 182/2017 respectively.
2. Now, with the enhancement of Dearness Allowance to 50% of Basic Pay, the ceilings of tenure Allowance may be revised upwards by 25% to Rs. 11,250 per month with effect from 1st January, 2024.
3. All other conditions stipulated in RBE No. 181/2017 and 182/2017 shall continue to hold valid.
