Sub: Provision of Facilities in TTE rest house at par with that of running rooms of guard/loco pilots.

Ref: This office letter no. 2018/TG-V/1/3 (Pt. III) dated 10.12.2018 (CC No. 71 of 2018), 11.09.2019, 19.04.2021, 16.12.2021, 11.05.2022, 30.05.2022, 29.07.2022, 23.01.2023 & 19.04.2023.

Vide letters referred to above, instructions have been issued for provision of facilities (including catering facilities) in TTE rest house at par with that of running rooms of guard/loco pilots. These instructions have been issued with approval of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways. However, the issue regarding non-provision of facilities at TTE rest house at par with that of running rooms of guard/loco pilots is being raised by Federations from time to time.

2. While going through the feedback received from the zonal Railways regarding facilities provided in TTE rest houses, it has been observed that at many locations catering facilities has not been provided so far. It is desired that the estimated time for provision of this facility and also the reasons for not providing catering/cooking facility may please be furnished to this office at the earliest. It is also desired that this information may also be uploaded in the Google Sheet whose link has been provided along with the letter dated 25.04.2023.
