Sub.: Promotions to Group ‘B’ posts on Indian Railways – Introduction of Centralized Computer Based Objective type examination (CBT) in all departments having Organised Services.
It is proposed to introduce Centralized Computer Based Objective type examination (CBT) for promotion to Group ‘B’ posts on the Railways/Production Units in all Departments having organized services. To begin with, all the LDCEs which are yet to be notified/have only been notified and where rest of the process is yet to be carried out are proposed to be conducted through the CBT shortly.
2. Board has decided that the CBT will be held under the aegis of DG, NAIR. In this regard, a Meeting is going to be held in Board’s office in Committee Room at 1200 on 04.07.2022 where CRB & CEO and Adviser(MR) will be also be present. Kindly make it convenient to attend the meeting.
