Sub: Felicitation of retired Railway employees on the occasion of 75 years of India’s Independence on 15th August, 2022 under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.
Attention is invited to Board’s letter of even number dated 27.10.2021 regarding presentation of special medallions to retired Railway employees of 75 years of age who have distinguished themselves in varied fields including culture and sports on the occasion of celebration of 75 years of our country’s independence on 15th August, 2022 under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Board have decided that Railways may procure Gold plated Silver Medals (weighing 20 gms. approx.) with emblem of Indian Railways depicting 75″ year of Independence on one side a logo of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on the other side and a monetary value not exceeding Rs. 2125/- per Medal and present the same to all eligible retired Railway employees on their respective Railways, who fulfill the criteria laid down in Board’s letter dated 27.10.2021 referred to above, on the occasion of celebration of 75th year of country’s independence on 15th August, 2022
This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
