Sub: Efficiency of procurement – Effective utilization of IREPS/ iMMS
Procurement and depot management activities on Indian Railways have completely shifted to online mode. Large amount of Information/data generated through these online activities are captured on real-time basis and are available in the database of IREPS and IMMS systems.
The information/data available in IREPS and IMMS systems should be proactively used, by utilizing various functionalities available in these systems, to enhance the efficiency of procurement including while consideration of bids.
This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
