Sub: Provisional discontinuation of direct recruitment to the posts of Senior Section Engineers (SSEs).
Queries have been received from some of the Railways whether provisional discontinuation of direct recruitment to the posts of Senior Section Engineers (SSEs) as provided for in Board’s letter of even number dated 25.10.2018 will have any effect on cases of inter Railway own request transfer. In this regard, it is clarified that cases of inter Railway or inter Divisional own request transfers will not be covered by the above provisional discontinuation, subject to fulfilment of other prescribed eligibility conditions.
