SHORTAGE OF FUNDS FOR SECURITY FORCES
373. DR. KIRODI LAL MEENA:
Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether Government is aware of the fact that some security forces, paramilitary forces and investigative agencies, etc. are facing shortage of funds for their day-to-day activities like ration allowances, etcอพ
(b) if so, the details thereof and the steps being taken by Government in this regardอพ
(c) whether Government is considering to provide paramilitary forces leave and transfer benefit to their home States, if so, the details thereofอพ and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?
ANSWER
MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS (SHRI NITYANAND RAI)
(a): There is no shortage of funds in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)/Paramilitary Forces and Investigative Agencies for their day to day activities.
(b): Question does not arise.
(c)&(d): Leave and transfer benefits to the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)/Paramilitary Forces personnel are being regulated in accordance with the extant leave rules and transfer policy of the respective Forces.
