1328. SHRI MALLIKARJUN KHARGE:
Will the Minister of Defence be pleased to state:
(a) the total number of casualties (fatal and non-fatal) suffered by Armed Forces jawans in terrorist attacks across the country in the last five years, year-wise;
(b) the details of the compensation and support provided to the families of the deceased/injured soldiers over this period; and
(c) the details of the total compensation given to families of such deceased soldiers in the current year?

(a): The details of battle casualties (fatal and non-fatal) suffered by the armed forces personnel in terrorist attacks/ Counter Terrorist Operations during the last five years are as under:
