SUBJECT: REVISION OF CONDIMENT EXPENDITURE
Sir,
I am directed to refer to the Government of India, Ministry of Defence letter No. 21704/Q/ST-6(Condiments)/1414/D(QS)/2022 dated 05th July, 2022 and to convey the sanction of the President of India for revision of rates of Condiment Expenditure for all ranks in India Army and personnel of Inter Service Organisations (ISOs) as under with effect from 01st Apr, 2023:
| S. No. | Category | Authorised Scale of Condiments | Rates of Condiment Expenditure per man per month |
| (a) | JCOs/ ORs | @ 18 gms per day | Rs. 160.42/- |
| (b) | Officers | @ 20 gms per day | Rs 200.63/- |
| (c) | Personnel Serving with Inter Service Organisations (ISOs) | @ 21 gms per day | Rs. 210.56/- |
2. This issues with the concurrence of Ministry of Defence (Finance) vide ID No. 14(1)/2000/QB/Vol.11/28 dated 18th April, 2023.
