Issue of Pensioner CGHS Card before retirement.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has considered the requests from retired Govt. Servants and those are due for retirement shortly, for simplification of procedure for obtaining Pensioner CGHS Cards.

Now, the Ministry has issued simplified guidelines for obtaining Pensioner CGHS Cards. As per the guidelines, Officers desirous of having CGHS facility after retirement, shall fill up and submit the application form alongwith the requisite fee, photos of family members etc. before 3 months prior to date of retirement. The Ministry/Department concerned should forward the same to the concerned CGHS in the city, after verification of the applications, atleast six weeks before retirement of Officers. the Pensioner CGHS Card will be issued on the date of retirement.

Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT), has reviewed the guidelines relating to deputation to non governmental organisations such as autonomous body, trust, society, etc. not controlled by the Government or a private body. Now the Ministry has issued revised instructions in the matter. Conditions relating to eligibility, procedure for appointment, tenure of the Posts etc. have been laid down.

Review of Cadre Structuring – reg

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOP&T), has reiterated that the grant of the benefits under the earlier ACP Scheme or the MACP Scheme is a fall back option in the event of promotions not taking place. It has been impressed that the Cadre structure needs to be reviewed periodically to harmonise the functional needs of the organisation and career progression of employees.

Therefore, the Ministry has advised all the concerned Departments to review the cadre structure in a time bound manner with a view to mitigate problem of stagnation.
