Department of Pension is receiving lot of complaints from pensioner Associations and individuals that documents submitted by them to the Heads of Office regarding proof of age concerned are not accepted.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) has issued detailed guidelines governing the matter of withdrawal of resignation by an Officer pertaining to All India services. The various conditions regarding time limit for withdrawal after he has filed his resignation to the concerned authorities, his conduct during the intervening period, availability of the post that he had vacated etc. have been stipulated in the notification.

The DOPT has noted that inspite of regular circulation of information regarding missing ACRs of CSS officers in the zone of consideration for promotion and uploading the information in the website of DOPT., the ACRs of large number of CSS Officers for two to three years, even 5 to 6 years have not been received. This results in delay of holding DPCs for promotion.

The DOPT has referred the discussions during training on APAR monitoring of CSS officers on 26th July, 2011, wherein the Nodal officers of Ministry’s/Deptts have stated about the problems of capturing the data for different stages/steps involved in completion of APARs in the monitoring software.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) is going to finalise the Common seniority List of Private Secretaries of CSSS for select year 2005 shortly. The Department placed the draft Common Seniority List (DCSL) in the website and requested to circulate the list among the officials

Training Division of the DOPT is administering the DFFT Scheme wherein officers belonging to IAS, SCS, CSS, CSSS and also those officers of other Group ‘A’ services, who hold posts on deputation under the Central Staffing Scheme, are deputed for training for various short and long-term programmes abroad

The Department of Personnel and Training in consultation with NIC has developed a software package for submitting the proposals for framing/amendment of RRs in the on-line process. In the first phase, 15 Ministries/Departments had been included and proposals on RRs

With a view to provide for choices of the applicant for individual suites in the allotment of hostel accommodation, it has been decided to introduce automated system of allotment w.e.f. 01.12.2010.

With a view to introduce complete transparency, speedy allotment, higher occupancy of houses and enable the applicants to get houses of their choice, it has been decided to introduce the Automated System of allotment in lower type as already introduced earlier in the higher types.

A Special Recruitment Drive was launched in November, 2008 to fill up the backlog reserved vacancies of SCs, STs and OBCs as existing on 1.11.2008.

The Department of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi, has decided to include in the CGHS Scheme in the list of approved hospitals for empanelment under CGHS, BENGALURU, CHANDIGARH, HYDERABAD, KOLKATA, AHMEDABAD AND PUNE and they will be eligible to treat CGHS beneficiaries at revised rates with effect from 05.07.2011
