Applicability of Hiked Room Charges to prospective visitors at Holiday homes
Directorate of estates has hiked the room charges of Holiday homes and Touring Offices hostels situated in various tourist spots and important cities with effect from 01.03.2012.

Now, Directorate of Estates has informed that all visitors to holiday homes and touring officer’s hostel/guest house have to pay booking charges as per revised rates. The prospective visitors whose booking have already been confirmed are required to pay the different amount to the caretaker/concerned authority of holiday home and touring officer’s hostel/guest house at the time of check in. Further, the prospective applicants are advised that the demand draft towards booking charges for the period w.e.f.1st March 2012 may be sent as per revised charges otherwise their applications will not be entertained and rejected summarily.

Reference is invited to Directorate of Estates O.M. of even No. dated 30th January 2012 on the above mentioned subject. In this connection it is stated that all visitors to holiday homes and touring officer’s hostel/guest house have to pay booking charges as per revised rates. The prospective visitors whose booking have already been confirmed are required to pay the different amount to the caretaker/concerned authority of holiday home and touring officer’s hostel/guest house at the time of check in. Further, the prospective applicants are advised that the demand draft towards booking charges for the period w.e.f.1st March 2012 may be sent as per revised charges otherwise their applications will not be entertained and rejected summarily.
