Payment of enhanced D.A. @ 119% with effect from 1st July, 2015 to the State Government Employees and Employees of Aided Educational Institutions drawing pay under ORSP Rules, 2008 will be at par with D.A. sanctioned by Government of India.
TN State Pensioners to get revised DA with effect from 01.07.2015. Tamilnadu Government has issued an order raising the DA from 113% to 119%. While arriving at the revised Dearness Allowance, fraction of a rupee shall be rounded off to the next higher rupee if such fraction is 50 paise and above and shall be ignored if it is less than 50 paise.

This order applies only in case of promotions carried out in the pre-revised structure during 1.1.2006 and the date of notification of CCS(RP) Rules, 2008. Thus, the benefit of Rule 13 of CCS(RP) Rules, 2008 would not apply in Cases of appointment to the post which was in the higher pay scale in the pre-revised pay structure, where such appointment is made after the date of notification of CCS(RP) Rules, 2008
