CBDT has simplified the format and procedure for self declaration of Form No.15G or 15H. The procedure for submission of the Forms by the deductor has also been simplified
Odisha Sanctions 6% enhanced DA for State Employees effective 1st July 2015
Payment of enhanced D.A. @ 119% with effect from 1st July, 2015 to the State Government Employees and Employees of Aided Educational Institutions drawing pay under ORSP Rules, 2008 will be at par with D.A. sanctioned by Government of India.
Increase in Dearness Allowance from 01.07.2015 for Tamilnadu State Govt Pensioners
TN State Pensioners to get revised DA with effect from 01.07.2015. Tamilnadu Government has issued an order raising the DA from 113% to 119%. While arriving at the revised Dearness Allowance, fraction of a rupee shall be rounded off to the next higher rupee if such fraction is 50 paise and above and shall be ignored if it is less than 50 paise.

Imposition of penalty, dismissal, compulsory retirement ordered by lower authorities
Railway Board says Penalty of dismissal, removal or compulsory retirement from service should not be imposed by an authority which has merely issued the offer of appointment or order of promotion
Submission of certificates by retiring Armed forces Personnel along with pension papers
As of now, the first payment of pension after retirement gets delayed mainly due to two reasons i.e. (i) due to delay in receipt of intimation by the pensioner that pension papers have reached the PDAs and (ii) due to delay on the part of the pensioner in approaching the bank for submission of undertaking/non-re-employment/re-employment certificate
Recruitment to non-gazetted posts on the Railways
Railway Board had instructed all the recruiting arms to verify the certificates in respect of the candidates qualifications of the non-gazetted posts directly to the Board/University/Institution or the Council as the case may be, provided the said body is run by Central Government/State Government Bodies enacted by Act of Parliament or State Legislature
Promotion in pre-revised pay between 01.01.2006 and date of CCS Pay Rules 2006
This order applies only in case of promotions carried out in the pre-revised structure during 1.1.2006 and the date of notification of CCS(RP) Rules, 2008. Thus, the benefit of Rule 13 of CCS(RP) Rules, 2008 would not apply in Cases of appointment to the post which was in the higher pay scale in the pre-revised pay structure, where such appointment is made after the date of notification of CCS(RP) Rules, 2008
