The Cabinet decided on 26th September to extend the tenure of 7th Pay Commission up to 31-12-2015 which raised the suspicion that the submission of the report may be delayed. However, until today, the finance ministry has not issued the extension order by notification.
Quoting General Secretary, AIRF, the report says Railwaymen have demanded OROP in their oral submission before 7th Pay Commission which is likely to submit its report by the end of September 2015
