Wages of Casual Labourers, who were granted the temporary status in terms of the provisions of the Casual Labourers (Grant of Temporary Status and Regularization) Scheme, 1993 issued by this Department and were in receipt of wages based on the pre-revised S-I scale as on 1.1.2006, may be worked out and paid on the basis of the Pay Band I with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- w.e.f. 1.1.2006 provided they are matriculate

Processing of files received by DOPT for advise/clarification

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) referred to their OM dated 13.10.2010 wherein the detailed procedure for processing of files referred to DOPT for advice/clarification etc. were circulated. The DOPT has noted that a number of references, especially those relate to Court cases, are sent to DOPT without correctly following the prescribed procedure.

The Principal Bench of CAT New Delhi, has in a remarkable judgement has quashed the clarifications issued in the Office Memorandum dated 3.10.2008 and 14.10.2008 (No: 38/37/08-P&PW(A) .Pt.1) regarding the fixation of revised pension in respect of pre-2006 pensioners. As we all know, pre-2006 Pensioners have been not treated at par with Post 2006 pensioners as far as revised pension fixation is concerned

Govt allows PB-3 5400 to Senior Group B officers

Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central board of Excise and Customs has finally accepted the officers plea and decided to allow Grade Pay of 5400 in PB-3 for the Group B Officers (Superintendents of Customs, Superintendent of Central Excise and Appraisers) who were fixed with pre-revised Scale of pay of 8000- 275-13500 as financial upgradation in the promotional hierarchy under ACP Scheme on or before 31.08.2008
