NFIR refers low fixation of Minimum Salary, illogical Fitment formula, Abolition of various allowances and reduction in House rent allowances ceiling for class X, Y and Z cities.
Railways has denied Family Planning Allowance to Ex-Servicemen employed in Railways. NFIR refers the matter to Railway Board and requests to allow payment of Family Planning Allowance.
NFIR has made a request to CBDT for Income Tax exemption limit for Running Staff in Railways was not considered fabourable by CBDT. National Holiday Allowance is appicable to Railway Employees and same is sought to be revised by various Railway Federations. Railways Ministry’s stand in this issue is the said allowance can not be revised as such presently as 7th Pay Commission has been reviewing all allowances including National Holiday Allowance.
