PCDA has provided instructions for revising pension of Pre-2006 Defence Pensioners in receipt of Special Pension/Invalid Pension/Service element of disability pension
Rounding of fraction of Rupee for additional pension
While fixing Additional pension/family pension @ 20% to 100% to old pensioners/family pensioners of the age of 80 years and above, it has to be rounded off in the next higher rupee. No arrears is payable in case such rounding off is done retrospectively.
Defence Pension – Failure in Life Certificate

Issue of Identity Card to Defence Pensioners
Identity Cards will be issued to Defence Pensioners in Delhi, Metropolitan and other big cities as the first phase. Personnel Ministry earlier announced issuing of photo identity cards to all the defence pensioners.
