While fixing Additional pension/family pension @ 20% to 100% to old pensioners/family pensioners of the age of 80 years and above, it has to be rounded off in the next higher rupee. No arrears is payable in case such rounding off is done retrospectively.
PCDA has issued a circular stating that the data of Defence Pensioners’ life certificates will have to be provided to PCDA Office by 15th of December by PDAs
When names of dependents have not been found endorsed in the Pension Payment Order, the claim for endorsement of name for notification of Ordinary Family Pension through Corrigendum PPO will be processed and forwarded to Pension Sanctioning Authorities
As per PCDA Circular No. 547 dt. 11.09.2015, Service / Family pension in respect of Pre-2006 Defence Pensioners retired in the ranks of JCOs/OR is to be revised w.e.f 01.01.2006. The present circular clarifies on fixation of pension as per order dated 11.09.2015
Identity Cards will be issued to Defence Pensioners in Delhi, Metropolitan and other big cities as the first phase. Personnel Ministry earlier announced issuing of photo identity cards to all the defence pensioners.
PCDA urges Banks to implement Scheme for payment of pension of Defence Pensioners by Banks as this will help Banks to handle pensioners accounts with respect to obtaining necessary certificates from pensioners/ family pensioners before continuing payment after due date as well as maintenance of pension account
ECHS follows CGHS package rates as far as treatment in ECHS approved Private Hospitals is concerned. Revised Rates for treating Beneficiaries for cancer are given by ECHS now
While, Revision of Pension of Pre-2006 Commissioned Officer Pensioners is effective from 1st January 2006 instead of 24.-09.2012, Pre-2006 PBORs (JCO/ORs) Pensioners will get benefit from 1st January 2006 to 31st June 2009, since their pension was already revised on the basis of highest pay in 5th CPC scales from July 2009
