Retired Employees Liberalised Health Scheme (RELHS) beneficiaries are being issued with PAN India Smart Card for cashless treatment in medical emergencies through out the Country.
Railway Board has decided to extend Employee’s Liberalized Health Scheme (RELHS) to all Railway employees who have retired or retiring from Railway service on attaining age of superannuation
7th pay commission has recommended to merge CGHS, ECHS, RELHS so that better treatment could be given to all the serving and retired employees. CGHS to be extended to more number of people and should be available in all cities and towns across the length and breadth of the country.
RELHS 97 extended to all those railway employees who retired at the normal age of superannuation irrespective of number of number of years of their service before superannuation.
