The Department of Health and family welfare has issued order to the effect that rates payable for purchase of hearing aids under CS(MA) Rules, 1944 and CGHS has been increased
Central Government Employees (and their eligible family members) residing in non- CGHS covered cities in India avail health care facilities under Civil Services Medical Attendance Rules (CS (MA) Rules).
In the normal circumstances, the pensioner who is CGHS beneficiary and his/her dependent family members are entitled to get cashless medical treatment In CGHS empanelled private hospitals on a referral by a Government medical specialist / CMO in-charge, after obtaining prior permission from the CMO
