Sub: Advance issue of Privilege Pass Surrender Certificate (PPSC)/Confirmation Note (CN) for availing AILTC in the next Calendar Year
Ref: (i) Board’s letter No. 2017/PS5-1/3 dated 10.09.2018.
(ii) DoP&T’s OM No. 31011/12/2022-Estt.A-IV dated 29.08.2022.
In the absence of instructions for issue of PPSC/CN in advance in Board’s letter cited under Ref.(i) above, clarification is being sought as to whether PPSC/CN can be issued in advance for complying with the latest procedure stipulated in DoP&T’s OM cited under Ref.(ii) above.
2. In this context, it is clarified that PPSC/CN for availing AILTC in the next Calendar Year may be issued upto two months in advance i.e. 1st November onwards, after suitably scoring out the word ‘current’ indicated before “Calendar Year” in the PPSC/CN proforma.
3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
