No proposal to postpone salary hike of government employees

There is a message being passed around social media stated that “Central government employees will have to wait till next year for increment”. The central government has denied the news published in some media that it has postponed the salary hike of its employees till next year.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personal Training (DoPT), the central government has extended the period for completion of the Annual Performance Assessment Report (APAR) of central employees for 2019-20.

PIB Fact check Clarified that it is completely fake also No such proposal to postpone salary hike of government employees. It is clear that the order relates to APAR completion and extension of timeline.
