Subject: Instructions for filing of Immovable Property Return (IPR), subject to Note 4 of IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016-reg.
Sir / Madam,
I am directed to refer to this Department’s letter of even no. dated 27.06.2022 vide which clarifications with regard to filing of pending Immovable Property Return (IPR), if any, of IAS officers prior to issuance of amended IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016 was issued.
2. In continuation of the above, it has now been decided that as a one-time measure, window for filing of the missing IPRs of IAS officers, if any, from 01.01.2011 onwards will remain open w.e.f. 15.07.2022 to 14.09.2022, to enable the IAS officers to file their missing IPR, if any, w.e.f. 01.01.2011 onwards.
3. State Governments / cadres are, therefore, advised to circulate the said decision among the officers working under the respective State Governments / Cadres and ensure that the timelines are adhered to.
4. This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
