Referring to Office Memorandum No.S11011/23/2009-CGHS D.II/Hospital Cell (Part IX) dated 21st February, 2011, and 31st May 2011 the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has announced revised list of hospitals empanelled under CGHS, at Meerut and also revised package rates payable to private hospitals for treating CGHS beneficiaries.

The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare(P&PW) has referred to the doubts by various user agencies regarding elibility of the dependent parents of a deceased government Servant. The Ministry has clarified that in case the deceased government servant is not survived by a widow/widower or a child, the dependent parents become directly eligible to receive family pension. In cases where a deceased Government servant is survived by a widow/widower or a child, and the position changes subsequently because of death or re-marriage of the spouse and/or death or ineligibility of child/children, including a disabled child, the dependent parents become eligible for family pension.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) New Delhi, has issued an office memorandum today regarding the furnishing of vacancies in the grade of LDC for the Select List Year 2011. The Ministry has directed that as per the decision of the Cabinet, 85% of the posts in the grade of LDC, meant for Direct Recruitment, will have to be abolished every year till the strength reaches 15% of the sanctioned strength of the cadre unit as on 03/10/2003.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) New Delhi, has notified that it is proposed to fill up the vacancies in the grade of Pvt Secretary of CSSS on adhoc basis and that the details of vacancy position in the grade of Pvt Secretary is urgently required for this purpose. Therefore, the Ministry has requested all the cadre units to furnish the updated vacancy position in the grade in the enclosed prescribed proforma latest by 15.9.2011.
