MACP benefit to Defence Canteen Employees of AFHQ/ISO
The Ministry of Defence has considered the Financial upgradation under MACP Scheme to Departmental Canteen Employees of AFHQ/ISOs on completion of 10 or 20 years of regular service in the grade. Accordingly, the Ministry notified that, the Competent Authority has approved the grant of First & Second Financial Upqradation to Departmental Canteen employees from the Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- in PB-I to the Grade Pays of Rs.1900 & Rs.2000/- respectively in PB-I.

Exemption for ITR-FAQ released by Income Tax Deparment
Notification No. 36/2011 F. NO. 142/09/2011 (TPL), Dated 23-6-2011 issued by Income tax department exempts Tax payers in the salaried class from filing Income tax return if the tax payer’s salary income and interest received from bank not exceeding Rs.10,000/- both put together did not exceed Rs.5,00,000 during the financial year 2010-11 (Assessment year 2011-12).
