The Standing Committee of Voluntary Agencies (SCOVA) is a forum for holding consultation with the stakeholders. As per the existing mechanism the Standing Group serves for 3 terms of 2 years each or till the pleasure of the Chairman of SCOVA
The meeting will be chaired by the Hon’ble Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Pubic Grievances & Pensions. Only one representative of a pension organization can attend the meeting.
27th meeting of SCOVA was held on 13.11.2015. Points Discussed – Health Insurance to Non CGHS areas, CGHS facilities to all P&T Pensioners, Extension of benefit of upgraded Grade Pay to Pre-2006 Pensioners of S-12 Grade, Pension re-fixation to Pre-2006 Pensioners and Refixation of pension from 1.1.2006 and the decision taken are listed below
Issues such as release of Dearness Relief order along with DA orders, Health Insurance Scheme for Pensioners, Special Family Pension to Widows of War Veterans, Anomaly in Pension, upgraded grade pay to S-12 grade etc discussed
