Sub: Retention of railway accommodation at the previous place of posting in favour of officers selected through PESB for Board level positions in Public Sector Organisations on permanent absorption basis.
In exercise of the powers vested in it to make reasonable relaxations in public interest for a class/group of employees in all or any of the provisions regarding house allotment/retention, the Full Board have decided that the officers, who have been selected through PESB(Public Enterprises Selection Board) for Board level positions at Public Sector Organisations, may be permitted to retain railway accommodation for the current scholastic session in case their ward is eligible for the same and provided that an amount equivalent to the lease entitlement or HRA, whichever is higher, of the officer retaining the Railway accommodation is deposited with the concerned Zonal Railway by the organization where the officer has joined on absorption basis.
2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
