Ref: Board’s letter no. 2010/E (Sports)/4(1)/1 (policy) dated 31.12.2010 (RBENo. 189B/2010) and clarifications/ corrigendum issued thereto

Recognition of Handball Federation of India was granted by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MoYAS) up to 31.12.2021 and has not been renewed till date. In view of above, it has been decided that the sports achievements in the events conducted by Handball Federation of India or its affiliated units after 31.12.2021, shall not be considered for recruitment, incentives and all other establishment matters till further orders.
However, the certificates issued by the Association of Indian Universities and the International Federations for recognized sports achievements in the game of Handball, will be valid for the said purposes.
