Promotion to Group ‘B’ posts on Indian Railways – Introduction to strictly follow the schedule for finalizing the various stages in LDCE of current vacancy cycle through CBT: Railway Board order dated 22.07.2022

Sub: Promotion to Group ‘B’ posts on Indian Railways- Introduction of Centralised Computer based Objective type examination (CBT) in all departments.
Attention is invited to Board’s letter no. E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 28.06.2022 (copy enclosed) on the above subject. As brought out, the schedule for finalizing the various stages in LDCE of current vacancy cycle through CBT is required to be strictly followed.
The need for adhering to the schedule stipulated in Board’s letter dated 28.06.2022 was also emphasized in V.C. held in Board’s office on 05.07.2022 (copy of minutes enclosed). It is therefore requested that all Railways / PUs should strictly follow the schedule specified therein. No request for deviation in this regard shall be entertained.
Further to above, the structure and distribution of marks for the single Paper in LDCE given in Para 3(ii) (a) (i) to (a) (iii) of the Board’s letter no. E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 28.06.2022 stands revised vide letter no. E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 22.07.2022 for promotion to Group B’ post of AFA in Accounts department (copy enclosed).
Necessary action may be taken accordingly.
