Revision of Pension of Pre-2006 Railway Pensioners with effect from 1st January 2006 as against 24.09.2012 in line with OM dated 30.07.2015 meant for Central Government Pensioners issued by Department of Pension

Railway Board has sent a letter to all heads of Indian Railways / Production Units regarding revision of pension of pre-2006 pensioners.

Subject: Revision of pension of pre-2006 pensioners-reg.

A copy of Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare(DOP&PW)’s O.M. No. 38/37/08-P8PW(A) dated 30.07.2015 on the above subject is enclosed for information and compliance. These instructions shall apply mutatis mutandis on the Railways also. The Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure’s 0.M.No.1/112008-IC dated 30.08.2008 mentioned in DOP&PW’s OM. dated 30.07.2015 has been adopted on Railways vide Railway Board’s letter No.PC-VI/2008/l/RSRP/1 dated 11.09.2008.
