Sub: Inclusion of Disaster Management (DM) Training Module along with the Mandatory Training Courses for IR officers.

Ref: (i) Board’s letter of even no. dated 09.01.2023
(ii) NAIR’s letter No. NAIR/ SPMS/ Rly.Bd. Corres. Dt. 18.04.23 & 13.09.23.
(iii) IRIDM’s letter No. B/ M./IRIDM/ Trg./ DM-NAIR/ 2022-23 dated 20.04.23.

Railway Board, vide letter dtd 09.01.23 under reference, conveyed its decision to include IRIDM’s Disaster Management module in following manner:

2. The above decisions were reviewed in the light of references received from NAIR and IRIDM and it has been decided with approval of competent authority that decisions of Railway Board communicated vide letter dtd 09.01.2023 should be implemented forthwith.

3. NAIR’s existing programmes and IRIDM’s’ Disaster Management Components will be integrated together and conducted as follows :

Executive Director, (Trg & MPP)
Railway Board.

Copy to:

1) The General Managers, All Zonal Railways/PUs.
2) The Director Generals, RDSO & All CTIs except NAIR.
